The EnviroNZ Franklin Bulls have gone down 87-71 to the Canterbury Rams at the Franklin Pool & Leisure Centre on Thursday night.

The beat-up Bulls, still without import Zane Waterman and with a vastly different looking line-up to that which started the campaign, mixed it with the Rams for the most part but faded late as the Rams continue their push for the playoffs.

Manel Ayol had 20 points and seven rebounds, Kyrin Galloway 17 points and eight rebounds while Isaac Davidson 18 points, five rebounds and six assists in his best game of the season.

The Bulls have been battered with injury and faced a tough four-game road trip over the past couple of weeks and have fallen out of playoff contention as a result.

They are back at home on Saturday night against the high-flying Bay Hawks.

Tip-off is at 7.30pm.
